NU 하바네라는 세비야를 배경으로 하는 뮤지컬 『카르멘Carmen』 제 1막 아리아의 이름입니다. 큰 파도의 물결 같은 붉은 드레스와 정열적인 춤 플라멩코Flamenco, 그리고 자유로운 집시 여자 카르멘의 캐릭터성이 하바네라의 영감이 되었습니다. NU Habanera is named after the aria from Act I of the musical Carmen, set in Seville. Inspired by the image of a crimson dress flowing like the waves of a great tide, the passionate dance of Flamenco, and the free-spirited character of the gypsy woman Carmen, Nu Habanera captures this vibrant essence. Its most distinctive feature is the continuous flow—an unbroken movement reminiscent of Flamenco dance. Since Flamenco is performed by the human body, it was essential to reflect natural motion and form. This is expressed through the handwritten-like structure of the letterforms and the organic, seamless connections between strokes that seem on the verge of breaking but never do. The Italic style amplifies these connections, using slanting forms to evoke a sense of speed and to emphasize the dynamic, handwritten quality.
